Day 2343: The Emperor’s New Skull

Friday:

So Mr Damian Hirst has taken fifty million pounds worth of platinum and diamonds and fashioned a jewel encrusted skull worth, er, fifty million pounds.

This has been hailed as the most expensive piece of modern art.

Hmmm, if someone would like to sponsor me to the tune of SIXTY million pounds, I think I can TOP THAT with my new conceptual piece “180 thousand ounces of Gold in disarranged bricks”.

It could be a seller, don’t you think?

PS

Also, the Big Kidney Donor Show turned out to be a SICK HOAX – or at least, a HOAX about people being SICK.

If nothing else, this should be a lesson for Radio Four in not recording your “News Quiz” a day early.
