This in a week when UK Catholics are claiming to have overtaken the Anglicans as Britain's favourite flavour of fantasy.
Actually, the numbers are for weekly attendance, and the claim is that there are 862,000 taking Mass compared with only 852,000 celebrating Communion.
Or to put it another way, of the 59,000,000 Britons today, NEITHER of the largest two religions can break the one million worshipers barrier – a strong suggestion that the REAL winner is the SECULAR majority.
